● Manage accounts payable, weekly payment run, annual 1099 reporting, and maintain vendor master data
● Manage accounts receivable, collections, aging review, and maintain customer master data
● Manage corporate credit card program and validate employee expense reports
● Record daily cash transactions, prepare cash reconciliations and cash forecast reports
● Oversee and manage trade spend programs; Prepare and update monthly trade spend reporting
● Work closely with Supply Chain Operations on inventory set-up, inventory costing, and inventory movements
● Reconcile and manage monthly inventory reconciliation
● Perform accounting month-end close, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and preparing monthly variance reporting
● Maintain Chart of Accounts and ensure the accuracy of accounting financial reporting
● Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures in accordance with US GAAP; Document accounting processes and manuals as needed
● Support tax returns preparation and ensure timely indirect tax filings and track state registrations as needed
● Assist with annual financial statements review and audit as needed
● Prepare budgets and forecasts to provide insights on financial performance
● Participate in other accounting ad-hoc projects as needed
● US GAAP knowledge required
● Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
● M.S. in accounting (or tax) preferred; MBA preferred, CPA preferred
● 7+ years of experience in accounting, additional FP&A experience preferred
● CPG experience required
● Working knowledge of QuickBooks or other ERP systems and excellent proficiency in Excel
● Responsible with high work integrity
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
● Strong communication and leadership abilities
● Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
