● Partner with the VP of Sales to develop and execute strategic business plans and tactics for key customers and channels in the Eastern U.S. to drive both short-term and long-term growth.
● Manage relationships with the KeHE, UNFI, and other key partners.
● Partnering with regional distributors and field sales to build the on-premise channel
● Oversee merchandising performance, setting clear expectations, creating incentives, and ensuring accountability.
● Identify and target new accounts, developing sales strategies and professional presentations with the support of the VP of Sales and broker network.
● Manage and execute planned promotion calendars, conduct post-promotion analysis, and track retail program success
● Communicate effectively with internal teams, wholesalers, and brokers.
● Maintain an in-depth understanding of our route-to-market and pricing models for various customer segments.
● Achieve sales targets and manage trade budgets within designated national accounts.
● Monitor competitive performance and market conditions to enhance our positioning and proactively address customer and consumer needs.
● Bachelor’s degree.
● 10+ years of CPG sales experience, preferably in the beverage industry.
● Expertise in MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
● Minimum of 5 years of experience working with brokers.
● Strong understanding of the DSD business model.
● Proven experience managing account trade budgets.
● Highly versatile, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
● Innovative, solution-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and adapt quickly.
● Willingness to travel nationally (moderate to heavy travel required).
● Excellent communication, active listening, and strong negotiation skills.
